- GREAT SYSTEMIF YOU LOVE PLAYING YOUR OLD LPS, THIS IS THE SYSTEM FOR YOU. Rating: - Beautiful unit, great sound! This is a wonderful unit for any audiophile. The classic design fits into any decor. It plays radio, CDs, tapes, and LPs easily. The sound is full and rich for such a small unit. It can play 33, 45s or 78s. For anyone that wants a nice CD/Tape/Radio that also wants to play their old records this is a great choice. Rating: - Looks fun, but poorly made.I've wanted one of these for over a year, and my wife just gave me one for christmas. The cd player works well but that's about it. - The radio dial looks nice but is difficult to read, and difficult to dial into stations on either end of the spectrum. - The tape player has no buttons. No ff, rw, stop or pause. Push the tape in and it plays right away, and you have to eject it to stop. Lame. - The phonograph never worked. When I set it to "phono," the needle sounded live but table wouldn't turn. And it was brand new. Super lame. So basically, the one I got was a great looking piece of crap. Better luck to you! Rating: - Plays too fast. ALL THREE that I purchased. To make a very long story very short, I first purchased from Crosley their 4 in 1 turntable, the product you see here.. It played too fast. Closer to 35-36 RPMs, making everyone sound like they were on helium. So I returned it, and purchased the Crosley portable turntable in black. It also, played too fast, closer to 35-36 RPMs. So I returned that one, and purchased the Crosley protable turntable in tan. It also, ran too fast. The jist of it? Crosley turntables are poorly made, with a total lack of concern for proper playing speeds. As long as you don't mind (or won't notice), your records playing about 10% faster than they should be, and your singers sounding like they are on helium, by all means buy this product. Otherwise, look elsewhere. Rating: - Great DealI bought this to listen to some Led Zep LP's, but I also ended up listening to my cd's and they all sound great. I also enjoy talk radio, so this versatile machine is on most of the time and the cassette player plays cassettes, so I can't complain. My mother enjoys it more than I do, she played her old records the other day and she nearly teared up. There's nothing wrong that I can say about the crosley, unlike other record players at amazon, it works just fine. Friends are impressed and for what its worth, its a great deal.
