 - Great item, great priceThe printing is fast, the blacks are deep, the print quality is high, and the duplex works like a charm. The unit does an enormous amount, for a bargain price. I use it as a second printer (primary is HP LaserJet 4050) but when there are long documents involved I go straight to it to save paper. HP has better paper handling, esp. for envelopes. For fax and copying it is fine. I am not a high-volume user, and, though changing the settings is not quite intuitive for my little brain, it gets the job done painlessly. And there are useful doodads, like the print-to-fax option appearing in your printer list automatically. The onscreen document manager is slow to load and a bit clumsy to work with but not overly so. Overall, a terrific unit implementing up-to-date technology. And the price point is downright incredible. Highly recommended! The controls are easy to use and it makes really quick copies. I use it most for copy reductions as well as 2 copies on 1 page. Great product for the price. I have recomended it to my co-workers! After long research the best value for a Multi functional Laser from a good brand as Canon Rating: - works on Apple MAC computers YEA !We've got three of these machines, and they work great on Windows PC computers, but also was happy to find out that our Mac works great with it too. On the Apple Mac computer, we can print from our OS 10.3.9 system easily (have not tried duplexing, but found a site on the web where someone else figured out a workaround, so with lots of work, it may be possible.) It totally does definitely function as a standalone COPIER with a Mac, and as a PRINTER, and also no problem with it as a FAX machine. My understanding is that it won't work as a SCANNER. That's okay with me, since the machine will COPY, FAX, and PRINT on the Mac computer. Highly recommended. Has held up really really well. Occasionally, the paper feed fails and gives an error message for no reason. Just shut off the power switch, and turn it back on and it is fine then. Can't think of a better machine in this price range. Good quality images, and very sturdy. Long lasting laser cartridge, after you get a replacement one. Rating:  - it's good but the toner is expensive.It works as expected, easy to use and setup. But the toner is expensive and the starer toner is only 1/4 full.
