- Too LightBasically the same controller we've seen from Sony for the last two generations, except wireless and much much lighter. The lack of weight is definitely something I needed to get used to. I am used to the solid feel of the 360 controller. Hopefully the Dual Shock versions solves this issue. Rating: - Excellent - No vibration, but no problem!Although it doesn't have vibration feedback (which will actually come soon in a new iteration of the controller), this controller is a natural evolution of the one for PS2. Wireless, tilt-sensors, and the PS button are all welcome additions. Having owning a Wii before the PS3, I kinda got used to the turning off the system with the controller (I don't own the 360, but I believe it has this feature as well), so this was a nice (but necessary) addition. Anyways, the layout is pretty much the same as the PS2, making it as comfortable to use, if not more due to it being a bit lighter, as it was before. Pretty much a necessary component to have for PS3 owners. Rating: - ps3 wireless controller review from askbargains.comThis 40G PS3 includes one wireless controller (It is very nice, personally, I really hate to have a mass wires everywhere). If you want to play a 2 player game with your friend at same time, you need to buy another wireless controller ( less than $49 in the Amazon). Rating: - Too light and no rumble. Six axis is not ready for prime time. This controller seems like it was rushed to production. The sixaxis is not well implemented in the games and the rumble is completely missing because of patent issues which are now resolved. Use it as a cheap extra controller, but definitely get the rumble controller for personal use. Rating: - Love that it is classic PS controllerWhile most games do not utilize the controller axis, i find rumble to be a better feature than tilting. I find it awkward to tilt the controller but I love the playstation controller design since the dual shock 1 days.
