- enjoyable but short.I'm in love with this game. superb graphics and storyline. I wish it was a bit long tho. Rating: - 3.5 out of 5Great graphics, innovative ideas, great characters, too short story, dialogue missing, repetitive at times. Rent it first, pay no more than 25 to own. Rating: - HeavenlyBeautiful cinematic and in game graphics. Interesting well fleshed out characters both on the "good" and "evil" sides. Challenging game play, even though it's just a lovely hack n'slash with a change up to a first person shooter from time to time. The "After Shot" effect where you actually control the arrows or cannon balls by tilting the remote is a fun touch. It's very satisfying to shoot someone from hundreds of feet away, lemme tell you. Didn't get stale, even though being an rpg fan, I would personally have loved it if there were a few puzzles or something. The length of the game was thoroughly disappointing. We beat it in less than a day. Another reviewer said that the length doesn't matter, but I don't see how this can be the case. We buy these games as entertainment: would we pay the same price for one ride on a roller coaster as we would for a day at a theme park? At any rate, the roller coaster in question is definitely one of the best games I've played yet for the PS3 and certainly the most beautiful. The main character is somewhat reminiscent of Lara Croft with a good helping of Xena thrown in. My personally favorite character is her "sidekick" Kai who's delightfully reminiscent of Cowboy Bebop's Radical Edward with a darker twist. The villains even have significant personality and motivations. I'm a big fan of games that have a lot of plot. We bought a used version of this game and I have to recommend that, because despite how much fun it is it's over too quick to spend full price on if you don't have the funds to. I know many people only have so much money to allot to entertainment and it would come as a big disappointment if that month's fun was over in a day. If you do have the funds, well then pick this one up. :-) Rating: - Phenomenal game. Plain and simple. All I can say is wow. From start to finish a rock solid game with great visuals and non stop action. Get this game, you will NOT be disappointed. Rating: - Favorite PS3 TitleThis is by far my favorite PS3 game of all time. The acting is top notch, the dialog is superb, the story keeps you interested, the characters are colorful and original, the graphics are stunning, the controls are easy to learn. There is so much about the game I love. You will get attached to the characters. - it's not just a hack n' slash game for the sake of it. You truly get immersed. My favorite bad guy character was Flying Fox. He was so funny! Of course, Nariko kicks major butt and she's not some gratuitously drawn cartoon with ridiculously large bosoms like many of the female protagonists in video games. I played this game twice and it was fun learning more and more of the special combos that Nariko is capable of. This is a truly outstanding game.
