- Does what its suppose to do.This ODB code scanner works as I expected. So far I have used it on three different cars (Subaru, VW & Toyota) and it worked fine on all of them. Scanner paid for its self on the first use. Rating: - Not sure how it could be easier to useWith the caveat that I've not tried using the software that came with it, using the scanner itself with both my 2003 GMC Sierra and my 2003 Subaru Baja couldn't be easier. Codes were easily read and the real time data readouts helped me understand my Subaru temperature gauge - which tended to have wild swings between hot and cold depending on whether I was going up hills or not. Leaving the scanner plugged in while driving allows you to monitor many system variables. A solid tool that's easy to use and relatively easy to understand, especially if you have a set of factory service manuals available (which I do for the GMC, but not for the Subaru). Rating: - autoscan +Excellent product, easy to use, prompt use thru each step. Performed as described. I recommend purchase. Rating: - Paid for ItselfThe scanner was easy to use right out of the box and operated as advertised. It paid for itself on the second use and saved me a lot of time as well. It would be even better if it were compatible with the O2 sensors on my truck. Rating: - More Than ExpectedI did some research before I bought this unit and it paid off... I was expecting the best unit at a fair price, but what I got exceeded my expectations. I would certainly recommend this unit to anyone that wants to find out what that "check engine" light is all about. *First Class*!.. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.
