 - Great CD PlayerThis is one of the best CD players I've used. I listen to a lot of Books on Tape and this player picks up exactly where you leave off even if you stop it to do something else for awhile. It's fairly good about playing scratched CDs and has not jumped while I have been working out in the yard or walking with it. The ear phones are OK but get bit irritating after wearing them for a time. If you are looking for a good CD portable player without the radio, this is it. It is pretty light on battery use also. Rating:  - Almost perfectThis is a great sounding CD Walkman. I would give it 5 stars except it is more difficult than most to change batteries. You have to remove the CD, as the battery case is inside and under the CD. Then it is a bit hard to open the battery case and insert the batteries. Otherwise, I really enjoy this player. Rating: - walkmangot it for my Dad to walk with.He found it had too many buttons! He's 83 and can't see well. It kept gettign stuck on pause which frustrated him! When he had it working he LOVED it and couldn't believe it's great sound! Rating: - Great ProductWe were very happy with this product. It came in a timely manner. Sony products are always good. My husband loves this when he goes to the gym. We have not stepped up to the ipods yet. Rating: - Just Along For The (Bus) RideI bought this to while away the 40 minute bus ride to work. It's a great little machine. Simple and straightforward, compact and easy to operate. The battery life is good. I'm at about hour 10 and still going strong. Actually the battery insertion is not the easiest, and the earphones that come with it are not very good; mine were broken on the second day (mysteriously, a wire poked through the earpiece) so make sure you have your own. But as I said the player works great, and the battery life is good. As for the battery insertion - actually the battery removal, take the innermost battery out first.
