Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Get a mac and the macintosh version for no worry installation
I had heard horrible things and experienced terrible things on the windows version. Every type of installation problem imangible. NOw on the Macintosh version i have not had any problems. Its not adobes fault here its microsofts for making a poor product. It seems the issues are in the OS and mainly vista. Although some lie in older versions. I would be careful when installing this on windows and make sure you back up everything before hand.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A MUST HAVE if you own Macromedia's Studio 8
If you're into Web, don't even think about this package's smaller sibling. Go for the Premium, you won't regret it. If you're like me, and own Studio 8, this is a steal.......... you get the latest Photoshop, Flash, and all the rest for nothing.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Upgrade Horror
I've wasted a day and a half trying to upgrade from CS2 to CS3. The installation process was EXTREMELY slow (about 3hrs), then I get a dumb message that i have to un-install (which took 4hrs, literally). So I google for solutions and find that I have to run an CS3 Clean script. I do and hope for a working installation, but no such luck. Apparently there's lots of people that experience the same pain. What a crappy upgrade! And the worst thing is that there's no competition!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Not so impressed
Having used adobe products for many years, the Suite concept recently intro'd with CS2 is barely improved. While Photoshop is the best tool for graphic work, it feels like all the other addons are just fluff and don't add any value. Actually the opposite. Software tools should drop in price, not increase as the product is already developed.
Dreamweaver which was bought 2 years ago hasn't changed substantially and the integration still is not there. After spending $1200 last year for this CS2, Adobe prays I'm dumb enough to shell out another $1800 and get the master collection or at least another $500 to upgrade what I already have. I'm tired of paying adobe and then dealing with a product quality that has dropped in value rather than increased. Its complete with the embedded advertising for more Adobe products, the constant attempt to stick a google toolbar on my machine and the pathetic bi-weekly updates that seem to never end. Nay. Wait 2 years. Get last years version, you'll get your work done. Maybe in a couple years adobe will have paid off the new building and their software prices will come back in line. The graphic editors will constantly tell you this is worth it. But its not. It's just sad there isn't any competitive products I can switch too yet. And while I'm at it, whens the last time you got an adobe font for $200? You'd think that at least that technology, now 12 years old, would have bottomed out, but proprietary Adobe continues to work like Apple.
