 - WONDERFUL ADDITION TO THE NURSERYMy mother bought this mobile for her grandson. He is only 10 weeks old and he simply loves it. He wasn't interested in too many other toys, but he will lay and stare at this mobile for a long time. He goes to sleep with it every night. I also turn it on while I'm in the room changing him and it distracts from the cold baby wipes. The different songs are wonderful, and the mobile mechanics aren't loud at all. (I heard that in some mobiles you can't hear the music over the turning of the mobile). The stars are only one color, but they show up nicely right above his crib. The room does have to be really dark. The only problem I've had is sometimes the remote will turn the mobile on or off and sometimes it won't. Haven't quite figured it out. Also, it's too bad that the remote doesn't turn on the night light. By the time I creep over to his crib and turn it on, I sometimes wake him up. They especially like the remote control that allows you to use it without entering the room and accidentaly waking up the baby. An absolute must for all new parents!!! Rating:  - Selling used as new?I ordered this NEW fom Amazon.com (they are the seller) and the product box was open inside the shipping box. Nothing was wrapped in plastic, just thrown in the box, the mobile was dirty and had signs of previous use. The springs holding the batteries were bent, there are scratches where someone tried to open the battery chamber on the remote and the sound is practically non-existant. Seems like someone else ordered this, was disappointed, returned it and it was sold to me as new. I am very very disappointed and will think twice about ordering something besides books again!!!!!! Rating:  - Amazon selling used productsThis product came in a regular box and not the original packing box. I believe this item was used as it looked very dirty. It does work but I just cannot believe Amazon would sell used products when it is being advertised as new. Rating: - Makes her smile Our baby LOVES it.it is so much better than a regular one song mobile..every time the music changes,the fun starts all over again.the remote control is a great feature ,too bad that the light doesn't turn on as well,but over all -- a GREAT sweet product. would warmly recommend it .
