- Unsatisfied customerI have only rated this item as one star only because your website would not accept this review without a rating. As I previously conveyed to you, thie third party seller sent Microsoft Works that was licensed only to be sold with a Dell computer. When the seller's response to my complaint was not satisfactory, I contacted Microsoft who asked me to send it to them. Since then, the third party seller emailed me that he was sending me another disk with a piece of hardware(???) and asked that I notify Microsoft of that. I have received nothing and will not notify Microsoft of something that I have not received. At this point, I have not received the correctly licensed program that I paid for. Rating: - Works is available for VistaYes, Its back, in a Vista Format. I use this one a lot. I have Office, but is harder and slower to operate. I can open a program and get the job done in half the time. I will do the same in office, and get pretty far. but without advanced training, you may never know how to do everything. And It's Cheap! How can you say no. Jay Hoyt Rating: - Works great I chose not to buy a more expensive Word Processing Program but to upgrade my MS Works because the new Micro Soft Works usually meets and excedes my needs for this type of application. I use the calendar a lot for Dr appointments, when our friends bands are playing, birthdays. I even appreciate the pop-up reminders. Rating: - microsoft works 9.0Very good for a lesser costing program. The four rating is only because I have not mastered all of the upgrades from Work's 4.5 that I have used for over ten years. Rating: - Good for one thingIt's cheap database software that I like to use for making custom comparison charts when doing my own product research. With free OpenOffice and inexpensive Office Home and Student Edition, there's no reason to use any of the other features. It's a credit to OpenOffice that Office Home and Student exists at all.
