- great productYou gotta get this product. It does everything and more. Supports it better than other product. Parellls! Supports 64 Bit OS. You will love it. Rating: - Excellent productExtremely quick install on my MacBook Pro for both the software and windows XP. The window suspends and wakes up very quickly. The only downside I have found is I can't change the resolution of the emulator. The unity capability is also really cool. Haven't tried to put it to a test of speed, but thus far it is faster then my last PC as an emulator. Rating: - Excellent Product, worth every dollar!I purchased this product for the sole purpose of being able to run Microsoft Money on my Intel iMac as I was unable to find suitable Mac personal finance programs. I decided VMware Fusion would be the easiest route as I didn't want to have to dual boot. The box came with a free download of Version 2.0 which is what I installed. Installation of the OS (Win XP Home) was just as easy as if installing on a native PC. No need to create partitions or anything. VMware Fusion also comes with 1 year of virus software. Works great with no crashes, slowdowns or BSOD! Great product. Rating: - Awesome! Worth the money.I recently switched from Windows to Mac. I have one program that I need to run in the Windows environment. This program runs flawlessly. Plus, if you already own version 1, they let you upgrade to version 2 for free. Rating: - Product itself works really wellThis product is great: It works really well and since I bought it, they have upgraded it to Version 2 which was in Beta when I first used it. It wlll pick up your installation of Boot Camp without a hitch, in fact you will be amazed at how easy it is to use. The explanations of how to use it are however deeply flawed: I haven't managed to figure out how to share files between operating systems yet despite there being a check box 'share files between OSs' which doesn't seem to do anything. Don't however think you are going to be able to install Linux however. This still needs quite a lot of polishing and when I did manage to install in the Beta (working from a CD, - it wouldn't install into a VM on the HDD), not much of the hardware would work. VMWare support involves you sending them an email and their indian support centre (which doesnt seem to know much about the product beyond what is stated on the support site) responding within a few days with not much substance in the seemingly canned response. The response, if you are interested, is that VMWare is only really certified to work with quite elderly versions of Linux and even if you try the ones people have put on their site, (and there is no way of ascertaining whether they are for Fusion or some other VMWare product), you are on your own. Now VMWare seems to tell its own customers to go to SmithMicro for technical support on its product! I am entirely not sure what this means.
