 - Nuvi 260Great Navigator for the price paid ($252 including NavMat). I travel (Fly) most every week. Last week traveled to Las Vegas, drove to Lake Havasu down Hwy 95. Returned by routing through Kingman on 93 through Houver Dam heading to Best Buy in Henderson. Worked perfectly. Returned to Avis at airport, worked perfectly. Unit also works in airplane but rerouts continiously as you fly over the roads. (Not meant to be a GPS, but watching the max speed is pretty neat.)Next week went to Kansas City, again keying in Mall (Zona Rosa) and arriving with no problem, returned to Hampton Inn which I could not have found with out calling. Overall very pleased. Would recommend to anyone. Using to review pictures on SD Card is very slow. Wide screen on "W" model not necessary, save the $50 and enjoy the size. Rating:  - Great little GPSThis is my first GPS and I really like it. It is easy to use. I have lived in my house for two years and wish the product had updated maps and recognized my home address, also wish it came with a home charger. All and all I like it and felt the price was great! Rating: - Better than expected, right out of the boxWe attached the Nuvi 260 to the windshield in the parking lot, typed in the address we wanted (six states & 1200 miles away) and hit the road. The operation of the unit is idiot-proof, and the directions are clear and specific, right down to exit numbers (and whether they're on the left or right side of the highway) and street names. (Don't buy ANY GPS that doesn't announce actual street names!) If you miss a turn, or change direction for any reason, the Garmin instantly recalculates where you are and how to get back on course. Screen size is perfect. There's no reason to pay more for a larger display. The map graphics are excellent with a variety of alternate views. The 6-million pre-programmed points of interest proved to be important, too. After we reached our destination, we were able to find restaurants, parks, and a hardware store (ranked by name and distance) with three touches on the screen. Rating: - Best DeviseI was bit late to buy this. Such a great product. Must have for every driver. Small, good looking devise to go into your pocket. When you are on the move, it helps greately. Voice also tells you which street to turn...etc. Also you can connect to your computer using USB cable and upload photos...etc Rating: - The Nuvi 260 works GREAT!I recently bought the 260 right here on Amazon. It came quickly as usual. These units are made for people like me, I get lost in my own hometown! I tested out the Nuvi 260 on local locations. Accuracy is 100%! The display is bright and adjustable. Easy to see and read. The unit speaks the directions at key turning points, advising you well in advance of the next turn. If you change your direction or road it re-computes the best new route. the voice almost sounds annoyed when saying ......"re-calculating". Audio volume is adjustable. Updating via the Garmin web site is easy. Battery life is very good, 5 hours easily. IMHO it acquires the sats quickly. No bells and whistles like MP3 players, etc. but that's fine with me, I don't want all that stuff. The Nuvi 260 is worth every penny IMHO. Get one!
