 - AirPort is easy to set upThis device makes going wireless very easy. Just follow the instructions and you are online. We have an iMac and several Windows-based PCs and were a little concerned whether they would all work. No problem. Rating: - Apple WirelessThis was one the easiest installs that I have had in regards to wireless devices. For someone not familiar with mac, this could prove to be tricky, so some research would be helpful. Ever since I installed it, I haven't had any issues with the it. My old wireless, I had to constantly reset and turn on and off for a variety of reasons. This has been very rock solid. Rating:  - Works like a man-a-war: Jerky, but strong.The airport is fantastic. It stops working about once a day for a couple of hours, and I have to completely reconfigure it once a week, but we can't really blame it, because the amp and lights go out around the same time. Could an electrician journeyman have been included in the package? Possibly. Was he? No. So four stars for taking a long time to restart after the electricity shorts out. Other than that, it's perfect. Shipping was quick and fabulous, although in the future, there should be small holes in the box. So the electrician can breathe. Rating: - Thank you Apple for providing me with my first reliable routerI bought the Airport Extreme to replace my absolutely horrible Belkin N1 router. Prior to purchasing the Airport Extreme I experienced constant random disconnects, duplicate IP problems, and insufficient range. I am happy to report that the Airport Extreme solved all of these problems in a matter of minutes, while providing me with a boost in speed and some great new features. I was incredibly surprised when I saw the fast connection speeds that my new router could achieve. I did not expect a huge difference in speed, as my previous router had wireless N capabilities, but the Airport Extreme proved to be much quicker. The range was also greatly improved. My house has a few concrete walls that absolutely destroyed any hope for decent range on my Belkin, but the Airport has been seemingly unaffected. I also enjoy the incredibly useful printer sharing feature. I can't believe that I went for so long without it. Above all else, this router is a must buy due to its reliability. I have not experienced one network dropout yet. I have a whole lot of devices connected to the Airport at once (3 PC's, 3 Macs, PS3, Wii, PSP, and an iPod Touch) and none of them have any trouble obtaining IP addresses in a matter of seconds. The included Airport Utility is a fantastic application that makes configuring the router a breeze. It may seem standard to expect great, reliable performance from a router, but none of the routers that I have owned have been able to produce the same results as the Airport Extreme. I can not recommend this router highly enough. If you are in the market for a router, you can stop searching. This is the one that you need to buy.
