Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - nicest product you can buy for $40
beautifully designed- fits perfectly in the home or office environment. impossibly thin. just beautiful. makes you wish apple designed other products besides computers.

performance- keys seem a bit flat compared to other keyboards but actually work quite well and have a nice feel.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Survived my tumbler-of-water-at-3am test
Others have already said what is nice about this keyboard. The funny thing is after getting used to the shallow keys, going back to the older-standard keyboard feels like I'm on a dinosaur. Even the keys on my Dell laptop feel clunky. Last night I put it to a big test. I had a large tumbler of water in front of me, I dozed off and spilled all the water. I woke up with my Mac telling me there's a USB power overload and the device is being disconnected -- all the water spilled over the keyboard, through the bottom, onto the desk, over the edge onto power cables, etc. *Uh oh!* I disconnected the keyboard and pounded it onto the carpet to get out as much excess water as I could -- luckily the wet wires didn't short circuit anything. I put the keyboard on the back of the G5 CPU to let the warm exhaust further dry it out then went to sleep (in bed this time). When I awoke, everything was dandy and I'm typing on the keyboard now. Yay!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - So far, really good
(I purchased this keyboard locally after having tried one at a conference.)

This device feels much better than the Mitsumi-built keyboard which shipped with my iMac Core Duo. *That* keyboard was poor: within six months of purchase several of its keys had begun to drag and bind. Good if you like correcting typing errors, bad otherwise.

It took only about five minutes to get used to the low height-above-desk of this new keyboard. After about another half hour I stopped hammering on the keys, a habit required by the old keyboard :)

With my fingers re-trained, this new board has become a real pleasure to use -- light, effortless and (so far) reliable. It feels even better than my previous favorite, the keyboard on my old Powerbook G4.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Love it! Type like the wind.
Had some reservations about the "space bar problem," but have had absolutely no issue with it. The keyboard is ulra-sensitive and responds beautifully. Would really recommend this to fast typists. The shallow keys let my fingers move faster too. I HATED the old keyboard. Apple has redeemed itself with this keyboard.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Love new Apple Keyboard
I wasn't sure I'd like this new style of Apple keyboard, and even less sure that my wife would like it at all. I was totally wrong. I love the style, the feel, the slimness. I love the new function keys for Dashboard, Exposé and media players. As a computer programmer, I literally type for a living, and I have to say this keyboard makes typing nearly effortless. Bravo, Apple Keyboard Engineers!
