- Great PrinterThis printer is rather large but it can be all closed up which is great for saving a little space and to keep dust and animal fur out of the internals. It is fast, relatively quiet, and duplex printing is very handy for saving paper without the hassle of manually flipping the paper. The images that I've printed are definitely skewed towards the orange. I haven't spent much time trying to adjust this out but suspect that it can be fixed. Otherwise the images are of excellent quality and print at a good speed. I would recommend this printer to a friend and would purchase it again. The feature set, price, and overall package is well worth the asking price. Rating: - Pixma ip 4500 printerItem was received on time and performed perfectly. Being on sale at the time, a very good value. Print quality and speed better than my previous HP printer. Rating: - Pixma - OKFirst, the negatives: this printer takes up a lot of desk space. With the front paper tray extended, its about 23" front to back. The front paper tray seems to be a flimsy plastic. Don't know how it would face up to a sideways blow. The software does not always seem to work well when selecting paper source -- paper can be loaded from a front cassette or from the rear. I think the ink may turn out to be expensive if you do a lot of printing. The positives: beautiful photographs (if you use glossy photo paper), sharp and clear text. Just have the patience to wait a long time for photos to dry. Rating: - Great printing qualityThis is my second Canon printer and I've really liked both of them. Good document printing and good photo printing. Rating: - Prints wellI've only printed a few photos with it but they turned out fine. I've used it mostly for general office work and it's fast and prints nicely. Only complaint is that it's pretty big and takes up a lot of desk space.
