- Great printerI mostly use the printer for work documents, and the duplex feature is really useful. It's fast when not duplexing, but the slower speed for duplexing is worth it to save paper. The printer set-up quickly on two computers with difference operating systems- Vista and Windows. One weird thing did happen - I went to print a webpage and some of the pictures came out blackened. There was a default in the settings that caused it, and it was easy to fix, but not expected. Other than that, it's been great. I still haven't printed pictures yet so I can't comment on that. Rating: - Canon Pixma iP4500Shopped around for a good price on this model. I am completely satisfied with it. Not being "savvy" about installing computers and printers, I was able to get it up and running in very little time. The print quality is very good, and it's not noisy. Rating: - Canon ip4500This is an excellent photo printer. I have printed over 400 Color and Black & White photo's in the past three weeks. Mostly 4x6", but some 8x10's also. I would rate the color and overall quality as Excellent. This unit replaced my Canon i860. The ink tanks in this printer last longer than those in the i860 and the quality is noticebly better. An added bonus is the double feed tray. It is nice not having to switch paper if I need to print something on regular paper. Rating: - Go, Canon, Go!Canon Pixma iP4500 Photo Inkjet Printer (2171B002) I've gone through EPSON and HP printers and now use a Canon. This printer comes with all you need EXCEPT: the USB printer cable???!?!?? The CANON company NEEDS to include the USB printer cable. It makes no sense to buy a printer and not have the means to communicate with THE COMPUTER!!! Rating: - Canon Pixma iP4500 Photo Inkjet PrinterMy wife has run this printer mercilessly and it hasn't missed a beat. Because she uses it so much, I purchased a CISS for it so she won't run out of ink. The best part is that it is about nine times less expensive and it prints exactly like it did with the cartridges. It feeds with either from the top or with the push of a button, it will load from the lower cassette. It has never once jammed or fed incorrectly. A truly wonderful printer.
