- Pretty Good...Not a bad product right here. I guess. Too bad the vine program never mailed it to me. So.....there you go..... Rating: - More convenient than the free alternativesIf you're can't afford $20-$30 for this software, or you want to waste your time researching and finding the latest and greatest free software solutions and you're only managing one computer then this product might not be for you. However, if you value your time and/or have more than 1 computer at home then this is exactly what you need. I've tried solutions from AVG, clamwin, norton, mcafee, AOLs version of the kaspersky labs AV, AVIRA, avast, comodo, blackice defender, zone alarm, panda internet security etc... and OneCare blows them all away when it comes to combined functionality, ease of use, and licensing costs(oh, and it's just as effective as any of those packages.) Most of the software I mentioned above is free if you only have one machine, after the first install the price jumps to about double what you'd pay for OneCare (more than 5 times what I paid for it on sale) and maintaining/troubleshooting multiple software packages on multiple machines can become a real time waster and who wants to spend their free time fixing computers? Rating: - Windows live onecareI have used this product for 3 years and I am very satisfied with it's performance. It is much less complicated than the other anti virus programs I have had on my computerin the past. Rating: - wesley's reviewWorkes very good. It is esey to install.I belive you have to pay a yearly fee for thi. the fee is afordable, around 39.99 or less.seemes to wopk very well. All in all I am satisfid. Rating: - Makes PC slowI have been using this program for last 6 months. After 6 months of experience with this, I feel there are few things I need to let the readers know: 1) This program makes the PC run dead slow. I run it on Windows Vista Ultimate and it really kills my thinkpad with 2 GB of RAM and 120 GB hard drive with Intel 2.5 GHZ dual core Pentium processor. 2) It insists on having to run its own backup software else it will always stay at "yellow". 3) It kills my VPN connection more often than the earlier Mcafee I used to have. 4) It is incompatible with a lot of my PC software like fingerprint reader and would not let the service run. I always need to manually open ports on the firewall. This is tedious. I dont now why it resets itself.
