Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - don't waste your money
this is a low quality piece of plastic. do not waste your money. it broke within 30 seconds... they give you replacement pins, however the screwdriver needed to replace the pins is so tiny, if I had one that small I wouldn't have required this tool in the first place.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Simple enough to use
The product came with no instructions whatsoever. This was a little disconcerting for me at first (since I didn't want to accidentally break my watch chains). However, as you can imagine, its not rocket science to figure out what to do. Watch pins have a split fatter end that keeps the pins in place. Simple put the link in position, then turn the dial so that the the pin is pushed in the direction of the arrows. When the link is removed, you can reinsert the pin to connect the remaining links the same way it came out.

The link remover worked pretty well on my Seiko and an Invicta. I used it just enough to "pop" the pin out, and I could pull the pin out by hand. I'm not giving it 5 stars, however since after a little while the gear proved more and more difficult to turn (almost like it was getting stuck on something). If you want to use this constantly, you might want to use something a bit more solid.

Considering that it costs $10 to get your watch adjusted (normally), and this costs $12, it seems like a no brainer. In the summer, or when its hot, its easy to adjust the watch at home. For those afraid to do it yourselves, don't be, it's super simple.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - plastic junk
don't waste your time or money with this tool, it broke the first time I tried using it; the pin support came free from the shaft and just turned; the best I can say is perhaps mine was defective, I sent it back

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - I love this
I kept getting frustrated with buying watches, because it seems most are made for people with very thick wrists. Since mine are rather small, finding a watch to fit is next to impossible. It gets to be a hassle too, to keep taking a watch to a jewelers to have it shortened.

Then I seen this tool and had to try it. This has saved allot of headaches and works perfectly. And, with gas prices now, it's saved big time on excess trips. This is well worth the price paid.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Cool gadget. Works great. Makes watch adjusting too easy.
Got a new watch and needed to adjust it. Was looking for a tool to do it myself. In the winter, my wrist is slightly smaller and during the summers, it's a little bigger with the warmer temperatures. This tool was so easy to use, I couldn't believe it. Just place the band inside, line up the pin with the hole and twist. Now I can adjust the links and pins anytime.

Definitely plan to get a few more of these and give out as gifts. Using it once already pays for itself. It really could not be easier to adjust any watch. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
