- Nice natural toyIt's nice smooth wood with a number of well-attached materials in it to add interest. I only docked one star because my kid enjoyed it for a little bit but soon lost interest. It's not her favorite toy, even if it's one of my favorites for her. Her favorite toys are of course the ones she's not allowed to play with. *sigh* Rating: - Cute But Be CarefulThis is a cute rattle but you have to be careful because if the baby swings their arms while holding it......well, it is very hard and the baby can hit their head with it. The rattle is o.k. if the baby is still while holding onto it. Rating: - I love it, baby just likes itI love this toy. I love how it looks, I love the quality, I love the gender-neutral/natural theme, and I love that it is made from wood. My baby, however, is not that into it. He might look at it for about 2 minutes. So I had to give it 4 stars, AND because it should not be called a rattle. If you shake it one of the heavy wood leaves hits you in the hand, and nothing on it makes any noise. Luckily my baby is not a shaker of toys. Rating: - really cute toyI ordered this for my 6 month old baby. It is super cute and looks more natural and substantial than most cheap flimsy rattles. She chews on the fabric and likes to noisily bang the wooden part because she likes the noise. It is made in China and the leaves are colored so I am praying they are stained w/ nontoxic materials. (it is more of a stain than paint - the wood grain shows thru). Anyway, the are very sturdy and wouldn't mind having a few of the others. Rating: - GREAT QUALITY BUT CLUMSY TO HANDLEThis is a beautifully made rattle that my 5 month old has had since birth but just recently begun to take a real interest in. It really holds her attention for quite some time ( in baby terms that's a whopping 5 minutes)! There's just one little problem - the green wooden 'leaves' are quite heavy and when baby gets to transferring this from hand to mouth, as babies inevitably do, the leaves tend to wack her in the face & eyes.
