- MARIOKART WiiMARIOKART Wii is so much fun. My 10 year old daughter loves it and so does my 36 year old husband. We are not a big gaming family, but this game has been played a lot in our family. Invite a couple of friends over and play with four players. It's the best. Rating: - Great fun for everyone. This game is so much fun, particularly with the wheel contraption. I've bought three more of them and having mario kart parties is fantastic. Recommended to anyone. Rating: - Very entertainingVery entertaining game. The game is very fun and the possibility to play with other people in the Internet is awesome. Rating: - Great Karts EntryPros: Tons of great courses both old and new, fun new items, wi-fi multiplayer, lots of great characters and karts, Mii play. Cons: The Wii Wheel is hard to control, I miss double karts. This is, without a doubt, the best Mario Kart game ever. The gameplay is basically the same as the previous game -- lots of zany races with an element of randomness. If you hate this sort of thing, then you won't like Mario Kart Wii, if you don't mind it, then you'll probably love this game. This game has a large number of courses, half of them the best of previous Mario Kart games and half of them original new courses. In the end, the new courses outshine even some of the best of the old ones, making more use of gaps and shortcuts. There are also some really creative course concepts such as the Maple Tree course or Wario's Gold Mine. The new system of scoring which goes up to three stars for really impeccable racers means that the game is suitable for both beginners and old pros. If you are good, you can unlock a large number of Mario characters. I loved the addition of Baby Peach and Baby Daisy as well as the option to play as Miis. The graphics are nice, though not the best that even the Wii has to offer and the music is a bit annoying at times as expected. My main complaint is that I found the Wii Wheel hard to manage. You are much better off using a Gamecube controller or the Wii Remote and Nunchuck. Also, I sort of liked the double karting in the last game and would have liked to have seen at least a multiplayer option for it in Mario Kart Wii. Any flaws, though, are more than compensated for in the fact that you can play this game online via Nintendo wi-fi. A crazy Mario Kart race with eleven other real people is just what this series has been missing. Rating: - Wii Fun!-- Driver's training Mario styleThis game is great fun for all ages! Our 15 year old learned how not to drive for her driver's license! It was challenging for new players and great excitement for the older folks. One visit to play at our home and everyone wanted the game for their own home! I would advise those who are easily addicted to video games to beware.... once you start playing it is hard to stop.
