Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - definitely not for beginners
This is an intermediate to advanced workout. My advise is if you are just starting to get in shape, get another dvd , then work your way up to this one. This workout consist of three 20 minutes workouts, divided into Level 1,2,3.each level gets progressively challanging. It took me 3 weeks of working out three times a week to finally do the level 1,2, 3, trio at once. A fantastic workout!!!!!!!

This video is ROCKIN'! It's easy to follow and the moves are basic but very effective. You WILL feel it the next day!! What's the point of a workout video if the moves are so complicated that you need to be a dancer in the first place?! Jillian Michaels gets right to the point!

This is THE BEST WORKOUT I have ever done. It's already a month or more since my first experience with Jillian Michael's 30-Day Shred DVD and I have not yet dared go to Level III. Why? Because Levels I and II are such intense and body-changing workouts... I just haven't even begun to grow bored, and have a whole new level on the DVD to explore yet! I usually get tired of a workout routine quickly but not this time; 1) because they are so challenging, 2) my body has changed in fundamental ways, growing stronger, delivering tons of new energy and focus, and new muscle I never acquired from other workouts, 3) Jillian's training style has helped me in every aspect of my life/career/relationships/self. I quickly got addicted to her training style, love that she pushes you through where you tend to let yourself down and fade out, and got her two major books and even started her customized vitamin regime. Feel like I have rolled back the clock about two decades and am a 13-year-old tomboy kicking around and standing my ground. If anything, Jillian doesn't TALK about believing in yourself, she actually challenges you to DO IT. I give this 10+++. She's genius.

This is a good book if you want to cook all of your own meals and figure out what type of "metabolizer" you are. Too much work. Basic premise: eat healthy & work out!



Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Best workout I've ever done at home
Jillian means business. Not only is she a great motivator, but she can put together one serious workout. I am in pretty good shape, and these workouts are tough enough that I am still on Level 2 of the 3. Within the first week I could already see/feel my body changing. Hands down the best workout I have ever found on DVD.
