- National Treasure: Book of SecretsMovie moves at good pace, typical of a Bruckheimer film, but storyline too much like first movie. Helen Miren was great addition to cast. Rating: - An exceptional sequelNational Treasure 2 kept me on the edge of my seat just as the first one had done. I loved the suspense, the humor the fanciful yet plausible twist on history - altogether an exceptionally entertaining show. I was sorry when it was over. What can they possibly come up with for the next one? Rating: - YAY!!!! The second one is just as good as the 1st!It's a rare thing to find a sequel that is even close to being as good as the initial film. "Book of Secrets" is right up there with the first film. Don't pass it up, who knows what you might learn.... Rating: - Not as good as first oneNot as good as first one, plot too complicated, didn't make sense. Just bought it because part of it filmed in Black Hills, where my husband grew up.
