 - Want to be a Marine?I'm a big fan of war games and movies, and none of these games or movies gave me the feeling that I'm fully inside a battle the way Call of Duty 4 do. The graphics are excellent, sounds are superior, story line is awesome, and the game play is very realistic. I don't know any other game where helicopters support you with their fire while you are fighting on ground, other games simply shows helicopters when they drop or pick you up. I love the way soldiers interact with each other, and how they warn you of any near by danger as grenade or a hidden enemy soldier. When you are fighting the un-named Arab country (I think we all know which country it is as we can see it from the map!) most of the battles take place between buildings, so I think it simulates what is going on now in Iraq. This game is so good that when you hear enemy soldiers speak with each other, they really describe what is going on now or what they are going to do next, and it is not just a random play of sound tracks, you can hear the Arab terrorist speak with each other "Let's go to the second floor" and then they show up on the second floor, or when one of them spot a Marine he scream to warn his friends "US Marine" or some times they just say "Infidels". One sentence they say it grammatically wrong which alter the meaning, when a terrorist is injured they scream "a man is right" instead of "a man is down". There is something funny in the game, most of the Arab terrorist banners, or the graffiti on the wall says in Arabic "Infinity Ward", especially the big black banner on the building where "Khalid Al Asad" executed a hostage. Rating: - Addictive Online PlayI only played COD4 online, and it was awesomely addictive. Buy it just for the online play, you won't be dissapointed. Rating:  - Awesome online playIf you play online games, COD4 is great. Plenty of different maps & weapons to pick up. The game itself is kind of short, but it is worth it just to play online. Someone set me straight here and tell me why the new copies of the goty editions don't have the new map pack? ok i did not buy the game from amazon but gamestop. im pretty pissed off right now that i didnt get what i paid for. Rating: - HEED THE MODERN CALLAfter years of fighting the third reich,the acclaimed "Call of Duty" franchise has finally decided to wake and smell the automated coffee.Call of Duty 4:Modern Warfare tells the stories of both an S.A.S operative and a Marine as they both fight to rid the world of the same evil.While playing as the S.A.S you will primarily be doing the "behind enemy lines" type of work, i.e. clearing villages/locating captives and espionage,while as a marine you will basically be laying down nonstop fire as you and your compadres perform the old hostile takeover of the entire region.Call of Duty 4 contains some of the most insane and heartstopping set pieces ever seen.Whether you are crawling through fields with tanks rolling past your head,escaping a sinking cargo ship or running from a crashing chopper, you will be constantly entertained.Graphically and gameplay wise,this game is superior.All of the evironmental and human characters are fully textured:dust/snow/fire and even the dog tags look exceptional.Multiplayer is no slouch either.Call of Duty 4 allows you to rise through the ranks as you progress through multiplayer matches and provides some of the most intense fights ever online.Playing out like the best hollywood action epic, Call of Duty 4 has earned "Game of the Year".I was never more satisfied with a purchase and I hope that you will enjoy it as well.Now get out there and lay down some covering fire.Hooaa!
