Farm & Home Hardware was established in 1969 by Hank and Alice Barnett in the little farming community of Basin City, Washington.  Initially the focus was to provide the goods and services to the farmer.  Building an inventory in such areas as plumbing, tools and heavy hardware, and providing services such as backhoe and trenching work, the business steadily grew and gained a reputation as a place where customer service was unequaled.  In 1985, their son, Leonard, was persuaded to retire from the farm and join them as the general manager.  Under their combined leadership, the store continued to grow and is today the primary source for all the general needs of the community.  But the story does not end here.  In early 1994, Hank and Alice's other son, Donald, persuaded them to enter the electronic age.  With a custom designed inventory and accounting system, the business has been able to streamline it's processes and become much more competitive in the market place.  Farm and Home Supply Center was made possible by all the hard work over the years and we are excited to now be able to bring our philosophy of quality products at a fair price, along with excellent customer service, to our Internet store.  We hope you find your shopping experience at Farm & Home Supply Center to be easy and enjoyable.  To that end, we are continually striving to improve our services, so please let us know if there is anything we can do to improve.  We are continuing to add to our on-line catalog,  if there is a particular item that you are interested in but can not find on our site, let us know and we will do our best to locate it for you.
