Mr. T who had played B. A. Baracus , the B. A. stood for bad attitude, had become extremely popular during the show's run. Mr. T had became a household name. He got his own Saturday morning cartoon show. He very rarely lost a fight except to Rocky which was before the A-team. Mr. T guest starred on Wrestling specials , Different Strokes, and got his own syndicated show once the A-team was over.
He was diagnosed with cancer in 1995, but Mr T. is staying tough even in hard times, he told Entertainment Tonight he was mainly concerned with how this news affected his family.
Recently Mr. T has shown up in a Pac Man commercial, telephone commercials and has been a recent spokesman for the tvland network.
