The Six Million Dollar Man was introduced to television audiences in 1973 on three television movies on ABC's Suspense theater. Cyborg: The Six Million Dollar Man 03/07/73 These movies were based on Martin Caidin's "Cyborg" novels.In 1974 the Six Million Dollar Man became a series on ABC. On the episodes "The Bionic Woman Part I" 03/16/75 39, and "The Bionic Woman Part II" 03/23/75, the world was introduced to a bionic woman, who just happened to be a love interest of Steve Austin. Jaime Sommers gets amnesia regarding her love for Steve and gets her own tv show on ABC in 1976. In the third season (1977-1978 ) of the Bionic Woman, the show moved to NBC while the Six Million Dollar Man stayed at ABC. In the third Bionic Woman season, the Bionic Dog
