Ok, so if you are going to college whether you are getting a grant or not you probably still want to shave some money off of text books. New ones are outrageous. I don’t know where they come up with the idea a book should ever, and I mean ever go over a 100 bucks.
I’m sure if you go to college you’ve guessed that used books are better than new, but there are now other options for purchasing text books cheaper like cheapesttextbooks.com, booksprice.com, or even Amazon.
Another option is downloading books online. Sites like Coursesmart.com sell subscriptions to digital copies of more than 7,000 textbooks. TextbookMedia.com allows students to download textbooks for free. You can also rent textbooks on Chegg.com.
