It helped me get a good score. Rating: - Excellent, systematic way of looking at word problemsI am taking a college-level algebra class to fulfill some pre-reqs. I really regret that my high school algebra texts never devoted a full section on word problems, as this book does. I see now that's why I never really "got" them. This book categorizes the problems by type and offers a systematic method of setting up each type. That's what I needed all along!
