The aircraft checklist, its v-speeds, and the flight's communication frequencies are merged into a set of 19 checklist screens, one for each phase of flight. Each screen is a single view of the checklist items and information appropriate for that phase of flight. For example, the screen used to approach the traffic pattern presents the checklist items for this phase of flight, the destination airport's communication frequencies, the correct airspeed and power setting, the current ATIS designator and a button to view the runway diagram. It is a complete system, operated by large on-screen buttons. No STYLUS REQUIRED. It can be tailored for unique user specific requirements, even for multiple aircraft. While the screens follow the natural flow of the flight, the user can still easily access any part of the system, if necessary. The backlit screen allows for easy use at night.
